In the context of an increasingly competitive global shipping market, optimizing resources has become a key factor in determining a company’s growth potential. Accordingly, building a cooperation model based on connectivity and shared benefits is creating new opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening competitiveness in the marketplace.

On the journey toward realizing its strategy of developing a modern fleet, enhancing competitiveness, and expanding into international shipping markets, VIMC ARIES has achieved a significant milestone with the successful delivery and commencement of operations of the bulk carrier HD Glory, in cooperation with Hai Dang SMC (a member company of Vitranschart).

With a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 28,210, HD Glory is the first vessel completed under this strategic development direction. Carrying not only cargo but also the trust, aspirations, and determination of Vietnamese maritime professionals, the vessel embarks on a journey to conquer new shipping routes.

Behind every safe voyage lies the dedicated contribution of officers and seafarers. Therefore, immediately after the vessel was delivered, the Company’s Management Board and Trade Union organized visits, encouragement activities, and gift presentations for the crew of HD Glory during Workers’ Month 2026. This timely support and meaningful care for employees further demonstrate VIMC’s people-centered corporate culture, where every seafarer is not only responsible for operating vessels but also serves as an ambassador helping to bring the Vietnamese maritime brand to international shipping routes worldwide.

This achievement stands as a vivid testament to the power of collaboration and the ambition of Vietnam’s maritime industry in a new stage of development. The official entry of HD Glory into service marks not only the success of an investment project but also the beginning of a new chapter in cooperative thinking, where stakeholders share a common vision, pool resources, and work together to create sustainable long-term value.

The VIMC–OOC (Owner – Operator – Charterer Ship Investment Model) Collaborative Ecosystem, introduced by Mr. Le Quang Trung (Deputy General Director of VIMC and Chairman of VIMC ARIES) at the meeting on April 18, 2026, has laid the foundation for a modern ship investment and operation model in which all parties work together to generate long-term value. More than simply a modern ship investment and operation model, VIMC–OOC embodies the spirit of cooperation, innovation, and mutual growth, fostering a sustainable maritime ecosystem capable of entering new markets and further elevating Vietnam’s maritime brand on global shipping routes.

At the core of the OOC model is the close integration of three key stakeholders: the Owner/Investor, the Operator, and the Charterer. Rather than operating independently, these parties are connected through a closed-loop collaborative framework that leverages each participant’s strengths to maximize investment efficiency, enhance operational performance, and minimize risks throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Within this ecosystem, VIMC ARIES serves as a strategic connector, linking investment opportunities while accompanying partners throughout every stage—from project evaluation, transaction execution, and implementation coordination to delivery support and operational commencement. Leveraging its market expertise and extensive international partner network, VIMC ARIES helps ensure transparency, strengthen trust, and establish a solid foundation for successful collaborative projects.

The HD Glory project, implemented in partnership with Hai Dang SMC (a member company of Vitranschart), serves as a practical demonstration of this model’s effectiveness. The deployment of the 28,210-DWT bulk carrier not only strengthens fleet capacity but also reflects the efficient coordination among all stakeholders within the ecosystem—from investors and facilitators to operators. The project’s success illustrates that when resources are effectively connected, the value created extends beyond a single transaction and contributes to sustainable long-term growth.

Guided by the motto “Connecting to Create Value – Partnering for Development,” VIMC ARIES is steadily affirming its position as a trusted provider of maritime consultancy and services. The VIMC Collaborative Ecosystem is not merely a business cooperation model but also a strategic development approach that fosters synergy among capital resources, operational expertise, and long-term vision, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of both VIMC and Vietnam’s maritime industry in the international market.
