The project covers around 27ha and has a capacity of 3 million tonnes per year for cargo. The project’s total investment is approximately VNĐ1.4 trillion and its operational lifespan is 50 years.

The project is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2024 after site preparation is finished in the third quarter of 2024.

Lưu Văn Bản, Standing Vice Chairman of Hải Dương Provincial People’s Committee, said that as the project would use land beyond the dyke, it is necessary to carefully assess the impact on flood drainage and structure.
